While shooting for a high school's 60th reunion, dinner had just been served to over 500 attendees. In a small kitchen just across the school's gymnasium where the action was taking place, a lone old woman humbly washes the never ending carts of dishes pouring into the room. Outside the frame, staff frantically tries their best to manage the event at hand, but no matter what, the chaos surrounding this woman does not bother her from doing her job.

This simple story comes from a shoot I did for a client's baby shower. One of the guests had been wandering around for a while trying to find the washroom. Experimenting with different angles around the house beforehand, I naturally rushed over to one of my artistic vantage spots and simply waited for the moment for this guest to come out from the washroom back into the living room with natural light beaming in.

Sometimes in Photoshop, I like to mess around with things just for fun. Most of the time the photo will end up looking completely different in a bad way but by simply adding max contrast, I accidentally came up with this.

If you live in Toronto, or have taken the "TTC" (Toronto Transit Commission) or both, then you've probably noticed at some stations there are pigeon shaped prints on station windows and walls. There's a whole historical story that was told to me by my middle school teacher behind why there are pigeons on the windows of some subways, but I always slacked off in school so I never really listened to everything she said at the time. However, my local station had their lights under construction and decided why not have a theme of white birds added onto this photo. If you hadn't read this description, you probably would think this entire scene of birds bursting out of my back had deep meaning in correlation with the historical pigeons, but I really just made this photo because it looks cool.

During this time, I've been highly interested with the contrast between how suicide occurred in the past, versus how take place now. Also the difference between age groups and their reasoning behind it. I wanted to create this photo showing a young fellow calling someone before grasping for the noose above his head, shown by the mirror behind him. This symbolizing how social the topic suicide becomes through younger ages which in my opinion is quite unnecessary.

Ha, get it, cause its a shadow, but it looks sad, so "Sadow". Ha ha, I'm so funny, please hire me.
